It’s the final day of the Sharjah International Book Fair!

Don’t miss your chance to meet some of world’s best authors and writers, such as Nobel Prize winner Abdulrazak Gurnah, Jnanpith Award-winner Amitav Ghosh, Algerian author Ahlam Mosteghanemi and The Pursuit of Happyness author Chris Gardner.

The much-anticipated annual event is taking place at the Expo Centre Sharjah under the theme of ‘There is always a right book’ – promising every attendee that they will find a book to take back home regardless of your preference and taste.

Attendees of all ages can also enjoy diverse activities and workshops at the fair, such as a dedicated cookery corner and children’s workshops.

Choir Guinness World Record to be broken at Expo 2020 Dubai

The National

One of Ireland’s most respected conductors, David Brophy, will lead a choir with a staggering 192 nationalities at Expo 2020 Dubai – thus breaking the previous record of 105 nationalities in a choir.

Having previously collaborated with the likes of rock giants U2 and classical music star Lang Lang, he aims to bring his rich experience to find a fine tune between traditional and modern instruments that bring together the harmony of the past, present, and future.

Organized by the Ireland pavilion, this spectacular musical event will take place on December 9, 2021 at the Jubilee Park – so mark your calendars and experience history!

Al Hosn Festival returns to celebrate the UAE’s art, heritage, and craftsmanship

November 25th marks the return of Abu Dhabi’s most celebrated annual event – the Al Hosn Festival!

This year’s 10-day event celebrates the UAE’s art, heritage, and craftsmanship as well as offer a platform for artists to experiment with traditional and new methods. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, it also features film screenings, performances, art installations, culinary experiences, crafts and design.

Immerse yourself the annual event that is tailored for inventive showcases that represent architecture, products, furniture and interior design. A must-attend event of this festival is the trade fair Downtown Design, where brands showcase limited edition creations.
